Danyell captured my grad school photos (2021) and several years later (2025) our wedding civil ceremony in a beautiful way! She was flexible in requests for multiple photo locations and hyped us up to get the best photos. The editing captured a natural look which is exactly what we were looking for. Dany did amazing work for our gorgeous beach photos at South Jetty Beach, CA! Even with overcast weather, she was able to take vibrant colorful photos of our family that turned out so beautiful. She was amazing with our energetic 3 year old, she perfectly captured candids and also guided us through the poses that look effortless and natural. Danny was exceptional at directing my family of 9 for family portraits. When looking at her work vs other photographers I noticed nearly every other photographer edits images in a certain way that makes the tones look so specific (muted colors with warm orange or beige tones) that I know will one day look dated and is overall unrealistic. Danyell has been there as a friend and a photographer for many years now. In recent years she did a graduation shoot with me and I'm more than happy with the results. Working with Danyell is always comfortable, simple, and fun! I feel very relaxed and happy during the photoshoots she's done for me and is very accommodating with my needs. She also coordinated with my fiancé on setting up my proposal shoot and kept everything low key so she could capture that special moment of surprise. So, I sadly have to start off this review with saying I have known Dany and her family personally for awhile. I start with this only to hopefully show how authentic I want this review to be for the work that she has done to capture a core memory of my and my husbands life. While my fiancé and I were looking for a photographer for our save the date/RSVP, along with photography at our wedding we reached out to a couple of local photographers. Some of them never got back to us, while others I looked them up on facebook or google reviews and couldn’t find enough solid evidence that they would be the best choice for what my fiancé (now husband) wanted. When we reached out to Dany on her social she kindly directed us to her website page where we started the discussion that eventually lead to the three most amazingly painless photo sessions I have ever been a part of! The first was an adventure to a local hiking spot. She was able to capture not only the wonderful backdrop, but had us as a focal point. She requested feedback on her images and let us know that she would be more than happy to change things if they were not to our liking. The second round of pictures was done at the Ventura Court house. While not as glamorous as Santa Barbra, she made it look such a way that I never thought it could! Romantic and special. The day of photos are to die for! Some are moody and serious, while a majority just showed the pure joy of the event. Very few pictures were staged. To top this all off? She came to our rehearsals and shared her insights and recommendations  to capture those moments that you want hung up on the wall forever. Dany is the type of photographer that goes above and beyond while keeping her clients grounded in the moment to capture the magic.
